NBA 2K have unveiled Michael Jordan as the cover athlete for NBA 2K23. This will be the fourth time the 6-time NBA Champion has been the face of the game following his appearances on 2K11, 2K12 and 2K16.
MJ also features on the as the main cover athlete of the Championship edition, which will give all who purchase a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass.
2K23 will also be bringing back the iconic Jordan Challenges from 2K11, which allows you to experience some of MJ's most iconic on-court moments from his career such as the 'Flu Game.'
“Jordan’s career transformed the NBA into a global phenomenon, making him a household name and leaving an undeniable impact on the basketball world,” the developer writes in a press release. “For the 24th year of NBA 2K, Jordan is the perfect embodiment of this year’s campaign theme: Answer the Call.”
2K have revealed that more cover athletes are yet to be announced in the coming days. The Michael Jordan Edition and Championship Edition will be available to Pre-order from the 7th of July. Take a look at the full trailer below.
