Following the withdrawal and re-joining of the Plymouth Raiders, the Plymouth based professional basketball team has had to undergo a rebrand after being unable to secure the transfer rights of their original brand.
Their rebrand comes with not only new colours but also a new logo, with a complete change from their original green and white colourway to a black and aqua with white details. With a new brand and a new logo, will most probably come new jerseys which haven't yet been released.
Carl Heslop, chairman of the Patriots, spoke on this new chapter of basketball for the city of Plymouth. "This is an exciting time and a fresh start for basketball in Plymouth. The new branding reflects the key elements of the club - pathway, community and the BBL team - which the whole fanbase and city can support."
The roster is also yet to be announced. We expect to hear more information in the coming days.
