Kobe 6 Protro 'Playoff Pack' Release Info
The Nike Zoom Kobe VI will be returning within the coming months of 2021 and with Protro treatments for Kobe's sixth signature shoe, everyone is excited. The 'Playoff Pack' or POP editions joins the lineup of those shoes which will be released this spring and will be coming back to retail.
The 'Playoff Pack' was originally released in 2011, during the Lakers quest to repeat a second three-peat. They were inspired by the home and away kits of the Los Angeles Lakers, with the away version consisting of a 'Del-Sol' yellow throughout the main part of the shoe, combined with some black accents and detailing around the heel, on the swoosh and as a part of the Nike Zoom cushioning.
The Home version is the version we're expecting to see in the coming months, with no information on the away version and whether that will be re-released in retail. The home version still has the 'Del-Sol' yellow, but used for detailing around the tongue and the sole of the shoe, whilst the upper signature scaly surface which most of the shoe comprises of comes with a white base, with some black detailing on the swoosh and the heel.
Although an official US date for release has not yet been announced, a price has, with the shoes set to be retailed at $180. For more of the latest information on basketball sneakers, be sure to follow HOOPER on instagram and twitter by clicking the corresponding icons below.
