Coach K Announces His Retirement

Legendary Coach Mike Krzyzewski announced that he will be retiring following the end of next season.

Known to many as Coach K, the 74-year old has seen immense levels of success at some of the highest levels of basketball. His legendary tenure as the head coach of @dukembb included 5 National Championships and he has the most victories of any D1 college coach in college basketball history with a record of 1170-361.

He’s also responsible for a lot of the success that @usabasketball have had in their years of dominance, amassing a total of 11 Gold Medals out of the 15 international competitions Coach K has either been a head coach in or an assistant coach.

As well as all this, Coach K has been responsible for the development of many of the NBA’s most well-known successful players through the Duke programme, including Kyrie Irving, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Jayson Tatum, Marvin Bagley III, JJ Reddick, RJ Barrett, Set Curry and many more. 

All in all, a winner at every level. Congrats to Coach K on an illustrious Hall Of Fame career.
