The Manchester Giants took the victory over the London Lions in a surprising fashion, beating the BBL Trophy finalists by 38 points, 94 - 56.
The game was close to start with. By the end of the first quarter, only a point would separate the two sides which is what many would have expected throughout the game.
The 2nd quarter saw MCR blow the game wide open, with the lead ballooning up to 18 points by halftime.

Francois Lewis led the way for the Giants knocking down 4-three balls in a row in the 4th quarter, what were his only 3 balls of the entire game. He finished with 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Lions will look to bounce back from this loss in the Trophy final matchup against the Cheshire Phoenix this Sunday, 20th March.
